    I was a pupil at CCC a few years ago. I found Cornerstone to be a highly homophobic and toxic environment for LGBTQIA students. We were taught by more than one teacher that being LGBTQIA was sinful, wrong and unnatural. It was said that "there is still hope for them, pray they find God and they will be redeemed." This is not helpful, it's dangerous teachings that can permanently hinder ones wellbeing and mental health if they are gay/trans. I hope that the college no longer discriminates against marginalized people.
